Virtual dissection June 29, 2007

Filed under: Educational — eo @ 10:35 pm

Dissection is the process of disassembling and observing something to determine its internal structure and as an aid to discerning the function and relationships of its components. It may refer also to some spontaneous natural process of dissasembly as in aortic dissection. (Wikipedia says so).

But how can it be virtual? Well, simply. Check out this example of virtual cat dissection or this one on virtual frog dissection. That’s it. Don’t do it IRL.
