The real life at Google June 27, 2007

An interview with a real employee of Google. Here are a few spoilers for you:

  • Most people don’t have a 20% project.
  • Big part of the technical staff do not have private offices.
  • They do not really have plans for career development.
  • Google does not place any value on previous industry experience but it places tremendous value on degrees, especially the ones from Stranford.

You can read the whole interview. Should bust some myths.
